Horrid Tales of Wister Town

I’ve updated the cover designs for my Pazuzu Trilogy, as well as Gaunt Rainbow, and the all the graphic typefaces on their webpages and promotional material – yeah, those new trailers in my previous and recent posts. Coming to completion, I turned my attention toward my compilation of my hometown horror stories entitled Horrid Tales of Wister Town. The changes on the cover and web-related graphics are quite pronounced – I replaced the image of Baphomet with corrupted Swiss canton shields. Baphomet is now confined to the story in which the demon appears, Truthful Consequence. Except, he does resurface in the refreshed 2012 video …

Grandiose, I know, but I knew the stories I wanted to write - years of drawing monsters had spun my own mythology and I hoped for something comparable and real. The book I wanted to write would fulfill a fading desire and breathe life into the chimeras I had sketched into my notebooks. That visual mythology was collectively called "The Mortui Philosophies." I had tried animation, but the repetitive work only produced frustration. So much in fact, I joined the 'sane' world and switched careers into Internet Technology.
